Friends-International’s main Cambodian partner Mith Samlanh was faced in early 2006 with the possibility of eviction from its main center, located in the heart of Phnom Penh.

Faced with the possibility of having to move all our services further out of the city and away from the children most in need, Mith Samlanh decided to purchase the center itself. We were able to do this with the generous support of donors and with the offer of a loan from ANZ Royal.

Mith Samlanh now needs to repay this loan and start repairing the buildings so that they can continue to provide the best services to street children - now and in the future.

Mith Samlanh have already raised over $1 million from donations and proceeds from our their businesses. The target is $3 million.
